What Services Are Available?

What kinds of accommodations do you have?
Accommodations are based on individual need. When determining accommodations, we look at how a disability is limiting access to the educational process.

What sort of funding assistance do you have?
DSS does not provide funding. However, financial aid is available based on economic need.

Does my condition qualify as a disability?
If you have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more life activities such as hearing, seeing, speaking, walking, breathing, learning or caring for yourself, you may qualify as having a disability.

What kind of documentation do I need to qualify for accommodations?
Documentation should be current (typically within the last three years) and from an appropriate professional. DSS will provide you with specific guidelines for documenting your disability.

Do you provide tutoring assistance?
DSS does not provide tutoring. Free tutoring is available to all students in Tutoring Services.
