TRiO Student Support Services is a federally funded program through the US Department of Education that provides academic support to students who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- First Generation (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
- Low Income
- Documented Disability
Highlands Grafitti Clean Up!
In July 2011 students improved their community by cleaning and repainting graffiti covered fences and walls in the Highlands neighborhood in Longview, Washington.

Recommended Class
Students are recommended to take a 1-3 credit Human Development (HDEV 127)course during the quarter they enter into the program.
The class covers the resources and activities needed in order to graduate and/or transfer to a university
