TRiO Student Support Services is a federally funded program through the US Department of Education that provides academic support to students who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- First Generation (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
- Low Income
- Documented Disability

During Winter Quarter 2012, Lower Columbia College students joining forces with the Salvation Army to bring relief to those in need within our community.

Recommended Class
Students are recommended to take a 1-3 credit Human Development (HDEV 127)course during the quarter they enter into the program.
The class covers the resources and activities needed in order to graduate and/or transfer to a university
