A W.S.U. recruit out of high school, Ryan red-shirted for the Cougars last spring. He pitched for coach Hippi last summer with the Wenatchee Applesox of the W.C.C.B.L. He has strike out capability. Can dial it up in those situations. He is a strike thrower with 3 pitches and a calm, cool, demeanor on the mound.
