Choose how you would like to contribute
A cash gift is the simplest and most immediate way to support the Foundation, and has an immediate impact on students' lives and college programs.
Cash gifts can be made as one-time gifts or as monthly, quarterly, or annual pledges.
Visa or MasterCard donations are gladly accepted. Credit card gifts can be made as one-time gifts or as monthly, quarterly, or annual pledges.
Employees have the privilege of shaping the future for thousands of students every year and influencing our community in positive, meaningful ways. A payroll deduction makes the process easy and convenient. Use the Payroll Deduction Form.
Many companies match employee contributions to charitable causes. Matching gifts are an additional contribution over and above a donor's personal gift. A dollar-for-dollar match is common, and some companies donate a two-to-one ratio for every dollar an employee contributes. Some companies even match contributions of their retirees. Don't miss the opportunity to double the value of your donation. Contact the human resources office at your workplace for details.
Stocks & Securities
Stocks and securities may be conveniently donated through electronic transfer from your brokerage account to the brokerage account of the LCC Foundation. You simply inform your bank or broker that you wish to give securities to Lower Columbia College and state the number of shares you wish to give. Your bank or broker can then transfer the securities into the LCC Foundation account.
Charitable IRA Rollover
In October, 2008 Congress passed legislation extending the Charitable IRA Rollover provision through December 31, 2009. This provision enables taxpayers age 70½ or older to make tax-free charitable gifts totaling up to $100,000 per year from their IRAs directly to eligible charities, including schools, colleges, and universities.
