What does the 2014 GED Test cost?

$30 per test, or $120 for the entire GED series (4 exams).

What does the 2014 GED Test consist of?

The 2014 GED series consists of only 4 parts:

  • Science (90 Minutes)
  • Social Studies (90 Minutes)
  • Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 minutes with a 10 minute break)
  • Mathematical Reasoning (90 Minutes)

How can I prepare for the 2014 GED Test?

Take preparatory classes

Contact Lower Columbia College’s Transitional Studies department to sign up for Adult Basic Educations classes at just $25 per quarter. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

GED textbooks are available through the LCC Bookstore and at your local library.

What is a passing score?

On the 2014 GED test you need to earn at least 150 points on each subject to pass. Max score is 200. To pass with "honors" you need to receive a score of 170 – 200. Scores will be available within 3 hours of completion of each test module at GED.com.
