DEVILS SEASON ENDS
The Red Devils played with pride and courage in the deciding game of the West Region playoffs Sunday. The injury depleted Devils battled in a classic game, but Tacoma came up with a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 12th inning to win 5-3. Read the story from The Daily News. The Devils got to Sunday by splitting two on Saturday, also in The Daily News. The Devils season ends, but the team will still serve as hosts for the NWAACC Baseball Championships beginning Thursday at Story Field. We ask Red Devil Nation to come out to the ballpark and show support for our guys, which will assure the tournament is a financial success. The loss Sunday snaps a 28 year streak of qualifying for the NWAACC's, an amazing streak.
