HANK HEADS NORTH
Red Devil freshman Hank Robinson has signed a NCAA D-2 scholarship at Alaska Fairbanks. Robinson (below), averaged 8.9 points per game for LCC last season. LCC head coach Jim Roffler was hoping to get another year to help Robinson develop, but he understands the opportunity. "Hank recieved a great offer and I look forward to seeing him flourish at the next level", said Roffler.

ALSTON LANDS D-1 SCHOLARSHIP
LCC men's basketball star Aaron Alston has signed a national letter of intent to play Division-1 basketball at Southern University in Louisiana. Alston (below) led the Red Devils in scoring at 16.6 points per game and was named the Freshman of the Year in the NWAACC West.  LCC head coach Jim Roffler is happy for Alston. "Aaron learned a lot in his time here and we're proud he was able to earn a scholarship at Southern, said Roffler.  He should have a great time in the Bayou."

DEVILS CLOSE OUT SEASON
A memorable season came to a close Monday with an 80-77 loss to Shoreline at the NWAACC Championships in Kennewick. Read the story from The Daily News....

It was a gritty, gutty season for the Devils, who lost the top two returners Victor Aguero and Ryan Rogers before the season began.  But the team played hard, was coachable and came away with the third seed in the West.  Highlights included an NWAACC tourney win over #1 ranked Whatcom and an earlier win over the eventual champion Tacoma.  The future is very bright for the Devils with Rogers and Aguero returning, the freshman battle-tested and a great recruiting class pending.
