Recruiting News
Woodland HS star Cassie Koering is the latest to sign a letter of intent to play volleyball at LCC. Koering is a 6-0 MB who was a three sport star for the Beavers. She also plans to play basketball for the Devils.

Also agreeing to join the 2008 Devils are Keisa Tsuda of Kelso HS, a 5-6 player who can play OH and DS. Taylor Beck of Toutle Lake HS is a 5-5 DS who can also play MB.

Lacey Flatz of Toutle Lake HS has signed on to play the Devils. The versatile front line player can play either MB or OH.

Talia Hamer of Mark Morris High School is also joining the Devils squad next season. The Monarch star is a top setter who will be a great addition to the program.

Toutle Lake's Denali Preston, Kari Sarysz of R.A. Long and Tarin Bond of Adna previously submitted their signed letters of intent.

The Devils made some strides in 2007, but the team certainly was disappointed in the 5-23 record. The team got better and more competitive as the season went along, and they gave many favored teams all they could handle.

Promising freshman Sarah Charrette was injured after the first match and it was the first of many setbacks that hindered the team. With talented returners and a fresh recruiting class soon to be announced, second year coach Marcy Gilchrist is confident LCC Volleyball will get back to the NWAACC tourney in 2008.

Three Red Devil recruits recently announced they will attend LCC during a ceremony at the LCC Student Center. Kari Sarysz, Talia Hamer, head coach Marcy Gilchrist and Denali Preston are excited for the 2008 season.

Red Devil Volleyball team member Tasia Trochim was named to the 2007 Western Division All Stars roster. She was the only player from LCC to be honored. To see the complete list. . . .
