Online Degree: Associate in Applied Science in Business Management.


Students gain knowledge and skills in a specific career field so they can enter the workforce upon completion of the degree.

To ensure students receive the knowledge and skills in demand by employers in the field, Lower Columbia College works closely with local industry professionals and advisory committees.

The business program offers all online classes geared toward developing skills in business including basic business principles, managerial leadership, marketing and sales, effective supervision, international business and legal issues related to business. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are integrated to help students be effective and successful in multiple business environments.

Many courses are also transferable, should students decide to continue their education to earn a bachelor's degree.

Students who plan to transfer to a four-year university should follow the program of study for the Associate in Business Direct Transfer Agreement / Major Related Program.
