Store & Share Digital Photos
Dust off your digital camera and refresh your photo-saving skills. Jolene Williamson hosts a quickie class that will give you the tools you need to store, find, and share your favorite digital memories. $20

Digital Cameras
If you are planning to buy or use your digital camera, but haven't had much practice, don't leave anything to chance where your digital memories are concerned. This comprehensive class will show you how and where to find, store, edit, and share your photos. *$20

Photoshop: Working with Layers
Photoshop is a powerful tool for editing images used for publication or on the web. In this beginner’s course, Jolene Williamson will address working with the layers palette, layer masking, and special effects and filters to create a collage by merging several images. Previous knowledge of photo editing programs is helpful. $20

Digital Scrap-booking
If scrap-booking is already a hobby, you can turn it into an obsession! Customize colors, choose your own textures, and use layers for effect. From the past to the future, you can create a collage of artwork that is uniquely yours. (Jolene Williamson) $20

*NEW: Easy & Fun Slideshow Presentations
A hands-on class designed to give you the essentials to create an exciting but simple slideshow of vacations and/or family photos. Windows Movie Maker will be used to produce entertaining slide shows using a variety of formats. Image optimization, music, special effects, and transitions will be covered. Images will be provided. If you already know your way around the layers palette in Photoshop or other layering program, we will import images and apply effects, add text and drop shadows to create a photo collage. Mastering Digital Photography: Photographing People
Photographing people can be fun, exciting – and complicated! This course will make taking beautiful pictures of adults, children, and babies simple. Don't be nervous if you're new to digital photography, because we'll start with the basic principles you need to know in order to become a people photographer. You'll discover the best way to shoot faces, fix common close-up problems, and use digital photo editing techniques to retouch your photos and make other improvements. Next, we’ll move onto portrait and formal group shots, where you’ll learn how to organize people, which angles to use, and which to avoid. You'll become proficient in action photography, and you'll also learn several fun and creative ways to photograph children and babies. You'll even gain expertise in filling your photographs with imagery, setting moods, and creating themes. This course will have you well on your way to becoming a skilled people photographer.

Secrets of Better Photography

You'll learn the basic technology that all cameras use, and you'll receive helpful information on exposure and lighting.
