A recent study in Washington revealed that one year of college-level courses, plus a certificate (such as medical assisting or welding) is the ticket to a good career.

Taking the time to go to college now will pay off in many ways.

High School Diploma

If you haven't completed high school, you can work toward your high school diploma at LCC through the General Education Development (GED) testing center.

By taking and passing a series of five tests, adults can demonstrate they have acquired the same level of knowledge as a high school diploma.

Students who need to prepare for the GED tests can sign up for Adult Basic Education courses designed to improve reading, writing, math and computer skills.
