Generally, after dropping a class or classes, you may be eligible to receive a refund. Contact the Cashier to determine if you are eligible to receive a refund, or if it will be returned to a financial aid program.
- Students are only eligible for a refund the first 15 days of classes.
- Refunds are issued by the cashier after the first 10 days of classes.
Repayment is when you have to pay back some, or all, of your financial aid.
Students who do not begin attending their classes, drop classes before the 10th day, or stop attending before the 60% date of the quarter, will owe a repayment of student aid funds
Students should double check their registration the first 1-2 weeks of each quarter to make sure they are attending all of the classes they registered for, particularly if they are on a waitlist for classes. There are no waivers of repayment based on a student not knowing they were registered for a class.
Repayments are calculated on a prorated amount based on enrollment level, number of days attended, and amount of aid received.
