Nominations Open for Exempt Employee of the Year!
Deadline: May 21, 5 pm. Please nominate up to two exempt staff members who demonstrate leadership by:
- Encouraging student achievement
- Building a spirit of professional competency, cooperation, positive communication, and information sharing
- Participating in campus and community activities
- Going beyond regular duties to provide high quality service for students, peers, and the community
The award will be presented at the Spring Reception on June 8.

- Goes above and beyond what is required by the job to provide high quality service to our students and the community.
- Demonstrates an effort above and beyond that required by the job, which has made a positive contribution to a specific department or to the overall college community's morale.
- Makes a significant contribution above and beyond that of his/her job responsibilities that has enhanced or contributed to the quality of the LCC facilities or equipment.
- Demonstrates consistent performances or actions, above and beyond that required by his/her job that has significantly contributed to the overall cost effectiveness of College operations.
- Has a we care attitude and is committed to the college's core values.
The winner will be presented at the Staff Appreciation Breakfast on June 6.

Lower Columbia College recognizes outstanding employees on a quarterly and yearly basis.
Classified Awards
Each quarter an outstanding classified employee is selected to receive an award, presented at that quarter's All Staff meeting. The three award winners become finalists for the Classified Employee of the Year Award, presented at the Classified Staff Breakfast.
Exempt Awards
Each year an outstanding exempt employee is selected to receive an award, presented at the Spring Reception.
