Sandy provides a constant source of encouragement to parents seeking to better their families through education. In her tenure at Head Start, she has established lasting collaborations within our community that are instrumental in the success of this organization and the impact it has on local families.

Sandy is very supportive and understanding of others. She is approachable, friendly, a good listener and always responsive. Her length of service speaks to her commitment to Head Start, LCC and our community.

Sandy consistently models professional competency, positive communication and information sharing within LCC, with outside agencies and the community at large.  Her spirit of professionalism, goodwill and compassion is well known.

She involves the community through many activities within the program, such as community readers, the community gardens at the new Highlands Center and her parent advisory council.

Sandy is a phenomenon who works tirelessly to promote and provide high quality services for students, peers, and the community. Her commitment does not end and stop at any time of the day or night. It is common place to get an e-mail from her composed on a Saturday, a Sunday or at 5:30am on a weekday. She never stops!
