Tamra Bell
Exempt Employee of the Year
2010

Tamra is amazing. Her dedication to student success and her willingness to go far above and beyond what is required to help students reach their potential is evident to all who have the pleasure working with her.
She provides signatures while students are standing in lines, she advises while she is getting coffee, and sometimes even when she is out grocery shopping. Her sense of humor allows her to take everything in stride.
In the last two years Tamra has successfully completed her Bachelor's degree while managing a family of five and learning a new and very complex job. She regularly participates at WorkSource meetings. In doing so, she bridges the knowledge chasm that exists when two agencies collaborate for the benefit of our students.
Always willing to step forward and take on a new challenge, collaborative to the bone, unpretentious and sharp as a whip, Tamra is always there for students and co-workers alike. She's the energizer bunny for our Professional Technical programs.
Richard Hamilton
Exempt Employee of the Year
2009

Richard always has a positive attitude in everything he does. He makes a constant effort to encourage others.
He always listens with a smile and responds with a creative idea on how to get the job done. Then he follows up afterward to make sure everything was done correctly.
Richard has a good rapport with various staff and faculty members on campus, but he makes it a point to ensure that everyone here in Campus Services is getting all the support they require.
Richard has a sound knowledge of so many facets applicable to his position. He's a "jack of all trades" of sorts and completes his job with ease and precision.
He has a good relationship with his large staff basically because he leaves no doubt what is expected of them & what their duties assigned are. He treats them with a mutual respect and leads by example.
