Medical Assisting

Medical assistants work with physicians and other healthcare providers, contributing support services in the office or laboratory.

For specific course requirements see Program Planners (scroll to the Program you are interested in)

Prerequisites include MATH 078/079 or higher and ENGL 100 or higher, both with a grade of C or better. Students must also pass a BTEC keyboarding exam or complete BTEC 101 with a grade of C or better.
