Students are encouraged to join LCC clubs, organizations and co-curricular groups to build lasting friendships, provide unique educational opportunities, and establish support systems of peers, faculty and staff advisors. Students are also encouraged to create new clubs and organizations.
The Associated Students of Lower Columbia College (ASLCC) recognizes LCC clubs, organizations and co-curricular groups that offer opportunities to meet new friends, satisfy special interests, make contributions to campus life, and contribute to the intellectual development of students.
How to start a clubA minimum of four students are needed to start a club, along with a faculty or staff advisor who will support the club.
If you are interested in starting a club please contact the Student Activities Office and fill out the ASLCC Club Application. Once a club has been approved the ASLCC provides funding for club expenses.
