Is Automotive Technology Right for Me?
If you enjoy seeing how things work, tinkering, working with your hands and solving problems then a career in automotive technology may be the right choice for you. Today’s automotive technology careers are high-tech, fast-paced and financially rewarding.

There are a variety of careers available to automotive technicians. You might become a service manager, service engineer, automotive writer, shop owner or manager, or even a race team pit crew member. It depends on your goals.

Will I be able to get a job when I graduate?
With a huge nationwide shortage of skilled automotive service, maintenance and repair technicians, the outlook for employment in this field is very good. Whether you're looking for a career in the local area or plan to move across the country, a career in automotive technology gives you job security and mobility.
