Transfer Degrees: Your Path to a Four-Year College or University

Completing a transfer program at Lower Columbia College gives students a tremendous advantage as they work towards a bachelor's degree. They save money on tuition and housing costs, and have opportunities to explore degree and career options.

Special Transfer Agreements - LCC has partnered with a variety of colleges and universities to make getting a bachelor's degree as smooth as possible. For a complete list see Bachelor's Programs.

Meet new people and learn about transferring to a four-year college or university. Trips to various colleges and universities are scheduled each quarter. See Transfer Club for the schedule.

Transfer Fairs held in the Student Center
Transfer Fairs bring 4-year college representatives to you. If you are planning to transfer to a 4-year college, it's a great opportunity to get your questions answered.

Transfer Degree Options
Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA)
Recommended as a starting point for students who plan to transfer but are unsure of their major.
Associate in Arts and Sciences (AA)
For students who are sure of the baccalaureate institution they wish to attend.
Associate in Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T)
Built upon the technical courses required for job preparation.
Associate in Sciences - Transfer (AS-T)
Prepares students for upper division study in science-related fields.
Major Related Program (MRP)
Builds on the AA-DTA degree for students in the arts, humanities and social sciences, and the AS-T degree for students in engineering and science-based fields.
Evening Transfer Degree
New!
Credits earned entirely through evening classes. Two or three-year completion plan available.
