The Machine Trades program focuses on hands-on student learning. Students train for entry-level jobs with a solid foundation of technical skills through classroom and lab experience. Courses are offered both days and evenings to accommodate those already working in the field wishing to upgrade their skills.

Automotive Technology - Coursework combining classroom theory and hands-on practice based on competencies established by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation.
Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technology - Preparation for careers in industries that use trucks, heavy equipment, vessels or industrial equipment using diesel power, hydraulics or mechanical power transmission. Transfer to several baccalaureate institutions available.
Manufacturing Technology - Studies in preparation for careers in industries that make products from metal, plastics, wood and other materials, as well as those producing solar, biofuels, energy, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and a host of green products.
Welding Technology - Studies in preparation for the state commercial welding examination and welding jobs in manufacturing and maintenance.
