LPN2RN Option

Licensed Practical Nurses who want to become RNs have two program options:

  • Registered Nurse - LPN2RN - Campus Based
  • Registered Nurse - LPN2RN - eLearning (online)

Classes are only open to admitted LPN2RN students.

Qualified students are selected based on scores on the Nursing Admission Exams. Students must also meet the applicable clinical requirements.


Campus Based

Licensed Practical Nurses seeking to become RNs can complete an Associate in Applied Science Transfer Degree (AAS-T).

Referred to as LPN2RN - Campus Based, the program prepares LPNs to sit for the national licensing exam for registered nurse certification. Te program is completed in three quarters. Students may begin in fall, winter, or spring, depending on space availability.

eLearning (online)

Licensed Practical Nurses seeking to become RNs can complete an online Associate in Applied Science Transfer Degree (AAS-T).

Referred to as LPN2RN - eLearning (online), the program prepares LPNs to sit for the national licensing exam for registered nurse certification. All coursework is completed through online studies followed by a10 week summer clinical experience in Longview, Washington.
