LCC's Automotive Technology department can repair vehicles owned by LCC students or staff. Vehicles newer than 1990 are preferred.
Instructors select vehicles based on the value of the training to the students.
Schedule a Repair
Fill out the Automotive Appointment Request Form and submit it to the Auto Parts Department (see Contact Us below).
Cost
All parts and materials must be purchased at retail price through the Auto Parts Department. The vehicle's owner is responsible for all costs. A lab fee will be charged, ranging from the minimum of $10.00 to a maximum of $75.00 on large jobs, such as engine rebuild.
Estimate
Once the vehicle has been diagnosed, an estimate will be available. In some cases, this may require some disassembly.
Payment
Payment in full must be received before the vehicle is released.
On large jobs such as engines, a deposit is required before parts are ordered.

Workmanship
All work will be performed to industry standards with instructor's supervision. We strive to train students in correct repair methods. Only quality parts, materials, and repair techniques will be used in the repair of your vehicle.
