- Guaranteed transfer admission to WSU Vancouver for Lower Columbia College students who complete the program of study and satisfy all requirements.
- Save thousands of dollars by paying community college tuition for the first two years
- Save drive time and gas money for the first two years by taking your classes at LCC
- Advising from both institutions
- Degree program requirements "locked in" for eight years
- Greater efficiency in completing degree requirements
- One admission application/no fee with Track A (see below)
How do I get started with Co-Admission?
Decide which Track you qualify for (A or B—see below) and then submit a Co-Admission Application to the LCC Admissions Office. Note that the Co-Admission Program is just for LCC students who intend to transfer to WSU Vancouver.
What is the difference between Co-Admission Track A and B?
To be eligible for Track A, you must meet WSU’s transfer admission requirements:
- Complete 40-60 quarter hours of transferable college-level coursework
- Earn at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Some WSU degree programs require a higher GPA to enter.
To be eligible for Track B, you must meet WSU’s freshman admission standards.
Can I apply for Track A at any point during my enrollment at the community college?
No. You can only apply for Track A after you complete 40 quarter hours of transferable coursework and before you complete 60 quarter hours.

I am a Running Start student, can I participate in this program
Yes, you can apply for co-admission in the fall of your senior year of high school. You will be required to meet WSU's freshman admission requirements (Track B) regardless of how many college credits you accumulate while in Running Start.
What if I don't qualify for either track A or B at this point - is there anything I can do now?
- If you have more than 60 quarter credits, finish your associate degree and apply to WSU Vancouver with a regular admission application. Contact the WSU Vancouver Office of Admissions for applications procedures and deadlines.
- If your GPA is below 2.0 GPA on your college-level work (40-60 quarter credits), you can work with your advisor to raise your GPA and subsequently apply via Track A.
- If you do not meet WSU’s freshman (Track B) admission requirements and/or have not completed 40 quarter credits of transferable college courses (Track A), you will need to wait and apply for Co-Admission after successfully completing 40 quarter credits.
