About the Program

Open Doors is a re-engagement program designed for students who:

  • Are ages 16-21 years old.
  • Have not earned a high school diploma
  • Are significantly short on high school credits, or are more than one year past their original cohort graduation date.
  • Want to finish high school or its equivalent while gathering meaningful, employable, skills and training.
  • Want access to a wide variety of college courses.
  • Are in Castle Rock, Longview, Kelso, or Woodland School District.

Learn about programs available through Open Doors

Open Doors reengages disconnected youth through programs that:

  • Create multiple pathways for students to realize success
  • Provide an on-ramp to post-secondary achievement through a performance based, individualized support model.
  • Offers flexibility to complete classes morning, afternoon, evening or online.

College and Career Preparation (CCP)
College and Career Preparation Classes designed for adult students age 16 years or older, who need to earn a high school diploma, prepare for the GED exam, or prepare for college-level coursework.

Classes designed for students age 21 years or older, who want to earn a high school diploma, prepare for college-level coursework, or prepare for a career.
