Survey research shows that LCC is a great place to work!

Employees at LCC report statistically significantly higher satisfaction rates than faculty and staff at other colleges across the nation.

Results from a national survey called 'Personal Assessment of Campus Environment,' or 'PACE' for short, demonstrate that LCC employees have a lot of good things to say about their work environment.

The PACE survey, managed by the National Initiative for Leadership and Institutional Effectiveness out of North Carolina State University, is widely used across the United States to help organizations grow and develop.

The survey consists of 46 questions grouped into four benchmark areas:

  • Institutional Structure
  • Student Focus
  • Supervisory Relationship
  • Teamwork

Because it is normed, the survey allow us to compare employee satisfaction at LCC with other colleges overall, and with other similarly sized community colleges across the nation.

LCC's results in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2023 were statistically significantly higher (at the p <.001 level, which is a very strong result) across all benchmark areas and comparison groups.
